Today has been brutally hot. Cicadas are shouting out their love songs, the water level in Twelve-Mile Creek is down (this is where Mystique and I have our favourite daily romp), and the thistles are in flower.
It already seems clear to me that my photography would improve if I knew how to do that thing where the foreground is in sharp focus and the background is blurry. Maybe I need a new camera...
