These two were preening away beside a river, and appeared to be totally ignoring me. I managed to get to within maybe three feet of them for this photo, took it and a couple of others, and left; they were still busy after I left. It was really cool.

i see swans all the time as I cross a bridge over a river, but there is no place to get out and get photos. alas. this is a great shot.
