Mystique

This is Mystique. Mystique is a 95-pound Bouvier des Flandres, who happens to have the sweetest disposition of any dog I have ever known. She is happily resting here in the park in central St Catharines because she has been romping with my three-year-old daughter and is taking a break. Mystique was born and raised just north of Montreal, and is bilingual, happy, and very, very bright. Mystique is helping me to get back into what I will euphemistically term "in shape."

  1. Pleased to meet you, Mystique. BTW, Steve, I like the way you are using just short descriptions to bring us into the pictures. I might start doing this--once I have trained myself to shut up in the first place.

  2. : ) Thank you. I've never done this (blogging) or that before (I bought my camera on kijiji a few months ago, and had never even downloaded a photo to my computer from it). New, new, new.

  3. I like the description too! And nice to meet you Mystique (great name, was it inspired by X-Men?).

I often say I'm in shape....I just don't define what that particular shape is!

  4. Mystique was partly X-Men, yes, but also initially because her name was French: Moustique, and I couldn't get my head around having a dog named Mosquito. This was close enough to get her to adapt.
